Emerald Dreams

Sporadic musings and ramblings of a woman with too much in her head and not nearly enough time on her hands....

Okay okay, so it's been a month.

Four weeks or so if we're being technical. I've been BUSY. Work is going well, the house is good (in fact my mother in law's apartment is coming along swimmingly). School is in full swing, currently I'm studying history from the 1950's through the '90s. Whoopie.

In work news, on Sunday I leave to go to Norway. I am VERY excited. This will be my first trip to Norway this year, we are setting up a meeting to be held in June. So my travel schedule looks thus: March in Norway, April in England, May in Germany, June in Reno, NV and then back to Norway, September in Munich, December in Marietta Georgia. I am becoming quite the world traveler, no?

The spouse is good, the kids are good. Which reminds me, this is what happens when your child grows up... she used to be this little brunette with big brown eyes. Now she is a five foot one inch dynamo. Killer soccer bod and oh my GOD she's a GIRL:

I'm afraid. VERY afraid.

Tonight she and I were at church singing in the choir. She's an alto like me, but let me tell you, she's so far ahead of where I was at that age. She can definitely sight read better than I can. It was lovely sharing something with her though. Tomorrow we rehearse all day and then we sing during the evening service.

Sunday she goes back to soccer and I go to NORWAY!

I can't wait to go to Norway. I'll update more later.
